Why it runs at the installation
The backend runs on a small computer at the site, talks directly to the inverter, and holds telemetry locally. It is always on, which means it has to survive the network being absent rather than treat connectivity as a precondition.
The architecture is local and edge-based. Anything network-wide is future work, and this page describes what is deployed rather than what is planned.
Our role
Red Sentra owns and operates the system: the on-site backend, the inverter integration, and the telemetry it holds locally.
